This town, sitting in the shade of its tower the top of which has been lost, (it was owned by Señores de Vizcaya, Gonzalo Guzmán and Don Beltrán de la Cueva), reminds us of the epic times of the configuration of Castile and the process of reorganization of the lands of Roa. Worth mentioning are the layout of the town and the Romanic entrance to the parish chapel of San Juan Bautista.
